Manufactured in Melbourne around 1961/62 next to the 1770, the 1772 appears to be one of the first productions models offered by Goldentone. It is essentially the same amplifier as the 1770 but features a twin cone speaker that gives this amp added brilliance in the treble range. Available in the 1961 Rose Morris catalogue for 37 Pounds.
